Hello guys and girls. I know this few weeks, NCC have been an emo cca. Emo here emo there. But i seriously do hope everyone can come out of this emo state and be happy and enthu about ncc again. As our blog title says, no road too tough... There shouldnt be any part of ncc life that keeps us unable to move on.. We must come out of this emo state. I believe everyone do have some mistakes here and there, hence we should not blame others.. This is meant for the guys la, especially wei han.. No point u telling me who u hate in the platoon and want to bash him up.. IF u want, u may.. I wont stop u. But do think 1st whats the consequences of it..OKAY GUYS. LETS BE CHEERFUL ONCE AGAIN AND BE ENTHU ABOUT NCC~!~!~! WWWY. WONDERFUL WWY =DD Reality Check
First things first, you all are Bravo '10 now, Alpha '10 will be coming in soon. Which of course means you lot aren't the youngest in the company anymore, which of course also means I'll have higher expectations from you all. Which also means, your sleeves won't be empty anymore, if you know what I mean.Secondly, COMMITMENT. You took the 1st step by dedicating 6+hours of every week for NCC, and I'm proud of that, and all your seniors are proud of that. I THANK YOU FOR THAT. But, what's holding the guys back from progressing? Commitment. Perseverance. A sense of belonging to NCC. That's what you guys need. Sure, things look clearer on hindsight, you all will be able to reflect, and speculate about the "should have been" scenario etc, etc. But point is, did you take the steps of corrective actions? And by saying corrective actions, I'm not referring to just ironing the beret or your no4. Before you report sick, ask yourself why you can't take it any longer. Ask yourself why others can, but why not you. Ask yourself, what do you lack that the others have to keep them going. Is it their physical (or mental) capability? Before you start blaming each other for their mistakes, ask yourself why they make the mistakes. Ask yourself why you allowed that to happen. Ask yourself what you can do to let the whole platoon (or company) improve. Because it's one for all, all for one. Is NCC just a torture ground? A place that you all come at 2.30 and leave at 5.30, and that's it? Or worse, just a place for you to wait for 4 years? Don't think about these questions now, because as I've said, things look clearer on hindsight. Think about all these when you feel like giving up... Cadet Officer David Chia guys... can we like put in more effort in our cca? i noe most of ur dun really like ncc lah but after all its still ur cca rite? even if u wanna transfer cca u oso hav to wait until yr4 so y not just put in more effort? im really pissed off today today sir david ucheck us and knocked down some of the guys cos they failed their ucheck its okay.. always can improve 1 but y there are just some ppl who are like 老鼠屎 spoil the whole bowl of porridge in pumping position still kneel down think u girl ar? den moreover... spec come lift up knee spec gone kneel down again playing hide n seek ar? i saw this i seriously feel very angry fail uniform check its okay... can always go home n do sth to ur beret or ur uni 1 but WHY! why cnt just stay in pumping postion? y other platonmates can but u cannot? im not trying to blame any1 like the specs said wan improvements we bravo already but drill still like shit lah i noe myself drill oso not perf but im at least willing to improve how about u guys? just wanna like 混日子? bravo already leh... wan let our juniors laugh at us? jiamao's beret was screwed.. but he went home and tried to iron his beret and now it looks perf so y cnt every1 put more effort? -weihan

As what wei han mentioned, seriously, find some time, reflect on ourselves. Bear in mind that drills is not as important as attitude. Ur drills may be good, but attitude sucks, whats the point. But if ur drills are bad, but u have a good attitude, u will succeed sooner and later. It would be good if both are good, which is rare. And pls.. Control ur anger, dun be like me, keep shouting at the platoon for some uselessness. Most importantly, dun no bear any grudges against any of ur platoonmates. I dun care u buay song who, but just stop it. Try to accept it, if u cant, try to change him. I dun want any of u all to pinpoint who did what wrong. I rather u spend the time u pinpointing/scolding people on trying to change the person. |
